Online Training Weaves
What is this course about?
This course is all about how to teach and improve your dog's weaving skills. We teach the weaves in a way that is easy on your dog's joints, as the majority of skills is taught on a short set of poles. Building understanding takes priority over brainless drive in this class :-)
Using small, structured steps, we teach weaving through the principle of shaping. Dogs taking this class should be familiar with the concept of shaping. We will practice difficult entries, commitment, side changes and building speed and confidence. Later on, we will transfer the behavior to the full set of poles and test your dog's understanding.
What will you get?
You will receive 3 lessons (1 Video of 5-15 minutes length plus detailed PDFs). The course is structured in a way that allows more experienced dogs to spend most of their working time on the more difficult exercises, as all material will be available half way through the course. You will have access for one year.
Who is this course aimed at?
This course is aimed at young dogs just learning how to weave, as well as dogs who know how to weave, but need to brush up on their entries or understanding.
What you need to know

Equipment needed: Weave poles (stick in the ground/practice poles will work), 1 bin/wing

Space: All exercises can be done in a small yard or indoors (if you can fit 4 poles, surface should be suitable!)
